BC Reach
Each year Ballet Chesapeake performs at numerous community events throughout Harford and Baltimore Counties and the state of Maryland. Each year Ballet Chesapeake performs at Kennedy Krieger's Festival of Trees, and several Library Outreach events. The company has also performed at the Maryland Canter for the Arts Gala and local assisted living centers.
Charitable Donations
This year, Ballet Chesapeake again takes up a partnership with Toys for Tots. Our holiday Nutcracker performance is particularly fitting for this organization. Ballet Chesapeake now accepts toy donations from audience members, which are taken to Toys for Tots so that underprivileged children and families can still experience the joys of the holiday season.
In continuation of our outreach goals, Ballet Chesapeake regularly provides blocks of tickets to performances to local organizations and charities throughout the state. Without Ballet Chesapeake taking the initiative to facilitate the attendance of these underprivileged children, most would simply not have this opportunity to be inspired and educated by a professional theater performance.
